I love physics and mathematics.
Abstract: I am an incoming CN Yang Scholar, majoring in Physics and Mathematical Sciences at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. I like solving problems that push past what I already understand, and then building things so that other people can do the same.
I am the founder of AO Guide, an ecosystem of resources to prepare for the astronomy olympiads. I won a Gold medal at the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics 2025, and will be participating again this year.

Introduction
Starting off from a space encyclopedia, today I find myself at NTU, pursuing the exact same passion that I had as a child: understanding the universe. This passion has pushed me to places I wouldn't have imagined. Last year, I got the honour of winning a gold medal for my country at the IOAA, which exposed me to astronomy, and an amazing community of like-minded people, some of which will be joining me at NTU this year.
I'm really interested in numerical and mathematical methods in physics. Learning physics, I've realized that the most important skill for a physicist is mathematics. I'm attracted to rigorous proofs, and love integrating weird integrals. Apart from physics and mathematics, my academic interests include astronomy, linguistics, and computer science. Even though I am inclined towards theoretical physics, I'm really pro-AI, and strong believe that AI will bring about a revolution in the way we do physics, and science in general.
I also love to build things. I enjoy coding, but now I'd reframe my title from a programmer to a prompt engineer. I really like teaching to younger students, since it not only helps them, but also reinforces my own understanding of the subject. This interest developed into AO Guide, a platform to help students prepare for astronomy olympiads.
I used to play chess a lot, but have somewhat deprioritized it. However, feel free to challenge me to a game at Lichess (I don't support chess.com, since it is a pay-to-win platform). I also enjoy reading sometimes, my favorite being The Stranger by Albert Camus. My favorite game is, of course, Hollow Knight. The best for the last: I like to crack funny(?) dad jokes.
